OFFICE  MEMORANDUM

 

Sub:-   Payment of Dearness Allowance and Additional Dearness Allowance  to the State Government employees effective  from 1.7.1997 and 1.1.1998 its applicability to Work-charged employees.

 

In continuation of this department Office Memorandum of even number dated 5th December, 2005on the above subject, the undersigned is directed to indicate below the rates of Additional Dearness Allowance as notified vide this Department O.M. of even number dated 7th September, 1998 referred to in para-1 of O.M. dated 5th December, 2005 for information and necessary action of concerned Departments.

i) Upto Rs. 400/-

440% of pay

 

ii) Above Rs. 400/- & upto Rs. 1000/-

426% of pay subject to minimum of Rs. 1760/-

 

iii) Above Rs. 1000/- & upto Rs. 1638/-

Rs.450/- plus 380% of pay

 

iv) Above Rs.   1638/- and upto Rs.      2145/- 

412% of pay

 

v) Above Rs. 2145/- & upto Rs. 2749/-

338% of pay subject to a minimum of Rs. 8837/-

 

vi) Rs.2750/- and above

Rs. 750/- plus 310% of pay subject to a minimum of Rs. 9292/-

3.       The ADA from 1.7.1997 and 1.1.1998, as indicated above will continue to be admissible to the work-charged employees on time scale of pay so long these employees continue to draw salary under the pre-1.6.98 scales of pay. However, no further installments of DA/ADA sanctioned on or after 1.6.1998 will be admissible to those work-charged employees as well.

 

4.      All other terms and conditions mentioned in this Department O.M. of even number dated 5th Dec, 05 shall remain unchanged.
